I am modeling a thin plate on top of which I place a permanent magnet (2D model)
-My objective is to change the permanent magnet magnetization M until I see saturation in the plate (This is to study Magnetic Flux Leakage). - I assign a B-H non linear behavior to the plate, set a particular M to the magnet and run the simulation, - Then, once the simulation is over, I select a point inside the plate (center of the plate) and record the norm of B and the norm of H at that particular point. - I then apply a higher M and record the norms of B and H at the same point... repeat... -> My logic is that by plotting B-H at this point and keep increasing M, I should see the B-H behavior.
Is this the right way to see saturation inside the plate or I am missing something? Thank you in advance!
