Hi, I am wondering how it is possible to use the solution of a 3D simulation (comp1) in a 2D simulation (comp2)? I have created the 2D geometry by cross-sectioning a 3D geometry at z=0[cm]. The 3D component has a solution (magnetic field, Lorentz force, etc), I would like to "slice" that solution in the cross-section's plane to define a force. That is, define Solid mechanic's Body load as the Lorentz force of the 3D solution, evaluated in that plane. I have tried comp1.at3(x,y,0[cm],comp1.mf.FLtz), which gave the error "Extrusion coupling operator interpolation failed for at least one point: no source point found". Another trial was to make a component coupling (linear extrusion). A cross sectional boundary was created in the 3D model (serving as a source), which was then mapped into the 2D geometry(destination). The simulation now runs, but the Lorentz force in the 2D component is zero. Thank you Daniel
