Static Deflection Modeling of 3d Printed Structures

Does anyone have experience modeling the static deflection of 3d printed structures, in particular if the infill is not 100%? The simplest example would be the deflection of a flat 3d printed plate simply supported at each end with a point load at the center. If the infill is 100%, does anyone have experience with how this compares to just a solid cantilever of PLA material? The attached photo shows it printing a simple cantilever with 20% infill. Do you think it would give reasonable results if this was modeled as a flat upper/lower plate with a rectangular grid inside? If anyone has experience with this, I would appreciate feedback before trying more complicated shaped structures that would take more effort to define the geometry.

Thanks, Tom
