Simulating a 2D Line-Dipole Antenna

Hello,

I want to set-up and simulate a 2D Line-Dipole antenna. The frequency should be 2 GHz and the length is 75 mm and width is 0.3 mm. A linedipole antenna is the time-harmonic equivalent of a pair of closely spaced 2D line charges in electrostatics. Two thin strips, which are infinite in the +-zˆ directions, form the arms of the line dipole. The antenna is excited by a voltage or current source placed at its center, which is also assumed to be infinite in extent.

Any suggestions, thoughts and help will be highly appreciated. I attachecd a picture on how the resultant magnetic field should look like.

Thanks in advance1

Best, Dipankar!
