Change axial pitch of helix

Hi

I want to define a helix consisting of 2 parts: in the first half the axial pitch is 1 mm and 2 mm in the last half of pitch. How to do this? I have seen a post in few years ago but I cannot understand that one. Could anyone give me any tips on that?
